    Half-Time @ The Grammys ...
The Red Carpet that you all missed ...

Christina Aguilera - Best Pop Female Vocal Performance (Ain't No Other Man). This reluctant diva has the take of what it is to have a real voice. Not failing to grab a grammy and her most known category, Pop Female Vocal, Aguilera (Christina) once again grab this year's grammy with her 1st single, Ain't No Other Man. Claiming the award 3 years ago with a massive hit, Beautiful, this blonde classy lass makes up the red carpet with pure elegance and aura. Failing to grab for Best Pop Vocal Album, Christina has yet to push herself in making for Album Of The Year and Record Of The Year. Peforming a tribute for James Brown a.k.a Best Peformance Of The Night, she brought the award show up to the next level with beautiful strains and grunts. This, is, the next Whitney Houston or even Mariah Carey.

Verdict: Christina Aguilera takes home 1/2 nominations.

Mary J. Blige - Best RnB Album, Best Female RnB Vocal Performance, Best RnB Song (Be Without You). RnB soul-belting diva, Mary J.Blige leads nominations this year with a solid 8 (4 general, 4 rnb). Unfortunately, luck wasn't on her side (similar to Mariah Carey's 8 nominations last year), she managed to only conquer the RnB category despite the fact of being one of the hot favourites of the night. It was a hard fight between Mary, Beyonce and Mariah for the Best Female but Mary proves otherwise with heart tormenting single, Be Without You. Momentarily later, Mary brought the song live with a choir backing her up. Flaws of pitch were here and there but Mary still proves, winning 3 that night was not as bad afterall.

Verdict: Mary J.Blige takes home 3/8 nominations.

Beyonce - Best Contemporary RnB Album (Deja-Vu). With 5 solid nominations, it wasn't her best night yet. Glitching of a boring performance cover of Listen, Beyonce tries hard to cover her notes. She didn't do it as nicely and she sounded and nearly tripping on stage. A Grammy saved her from utter embarassment. With the weird hair and less classy for the Grammys, Beyonce was a turn-down for the night.

Verdict: Beyonce takes home 1/5 nominations.
